Tara Meadows is opened from the 15th March until December 31st and provides each holiday home with full mains electricity and cable tv as standard. We introduced wifi in 09, with moderate success, but are now upgrading the system so that it will be available throughout the park.
The park facilities include two astro turf tennis courts, a football pitch, a beach volleyball court, two kiddies playgrounds and for the older kids an adventure playground. For the wet days, we have THE SHED, with an astro turf pitch, pooltable, table football and table tennis.
August bank holiday is sports weekend with a wide selection of events from running to table quiz's, providing entertainment for all. We also have a very active golf society, with outings to a number of local courses, which also includes our annual outing to Courtown Golf Club where we also hold our end of season dance.

There are many arts and sports camps held in the area, from football and rugby to sailing and drama. Tara Meadows also hosts soccer, rugby and tennis camps every summer. Tournaments and fun events also take place. Every saturday evening at 5.45 pm the football pitch is reserved for the Dads soccer match. If you are into walking the area is blessed with a choice of trails from beach to hill to forest.
We are within walking distance of our local beach, but have many beautiful beaches no more than a five minutes drive. Courtown harbour also provides many attractions with the Pirates cove providing crazy golf , bowling and an indoor play area. There is also the Forest park leisure complex with indoor swimming pools etc. With Courtown's many amusement parks and arcades you are assured there is always something for everyone young and old.

The town of Gorey is noted for its strong tradition in the arts. The Gorey Little Theatre group provides their annual summer play twice a week during the summer season, and no visit would be complete without a trip to French's pub on a thursday night to sample the local ceol agus craic and maybe the odd pint or two aswell.
There are two pubs and a hotel in Ballymoney with the Orphan Girl Tavern only a five minute walk. The Orphan Girl provides good food and music during the summer months. For your groceries there is a small shop at The Orphan Girl and we have a small tuck shop on the park.
